Stockton on Tees
Automotive Plastics Manufacturing Plant
Project Overview
CAD21 was appointed directly by Nifco as part of a design team to deliver a new manufacturing facility on its site in Stockton on Tees. The Factory was the second phase of Nifco’s site development.
Suffering high heat gains and poor air quality from its injection moulding process and machinery, CAD21’s solution was to provide a full displacement ventilation solution that heated and cooled the factory space as required. Displacement ventilation was included as it provides enhanced energy consumption benefits compared to mixed air solution by taking advantage of natural buoyancy of warmer air currents.
