CAD21 delivered the detailed technical design services for the new divisional headquarters at Middlesbrough for Cleveland Police. The scheme consisted of a 3-storey office / admin arrangement generally of open plan arrangement. The project is targeting a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.

Key challenges:

• Detailed co-ordination of services within voids at design stage, to enable easy and swift 3D installation modelling to be completed by the M&E contractor. Due to the co-ordination work done at the design stage, installation has been completed within minimal site snags being raised.
