Partnerships

Cad 21 have partnered with contractors, project managers and architectural practices on a number of schemes to provide clients with a single source contact as well as a harmony between design and installation.

Framework agreements

CAD 21 have experience of framework agreements with both Healthcare Trusts and local Authorities and are looking forward to expanding this very successful procurement route.

Private Finance Initiative

CAD 21 have recently completed the mechanical and electrical design in two large PFI schools in Doncaster and a PFI site wide energy scheme for South Tees NHS Trust at Friarage Hospital Northallerton. We are currently in the short list for an extensive PFI sheltered housing program.

E-procurement and e-auctions

We have been working with Business Link to expand our knowledge on this new form of procurement to ensure we are ready for the change when it inevitably occurs.

Procure 21

CAD 21 have delivered a number of large Procure 21 schemes for Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust at St Nicholas Hospital and Newcastle Primary Care Trust, the first of which was named in the One North East Constructing Excellence Best Practice Awards. CAD 21 have also delivered a P21 scheme for Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Carlisle.

Design and Build

Being a forward thinking practice Cad 21 have a flexible approach to procurement and as well as continuing to carry out designs through the traditional route have adapted to the fast track nature of design and build schemes.
